Your amendment is just to facilitate the high and rich people of the minorities to go for business and nothing else. All are not right about Madrasas to call them institutions of social services and humanism is perhaps too much. So, Government must take care of the students who are enrolled in Madrasas. They must be taught other modern subjects; otherwise how can they be qualified in this present world? Sir, they have issued certificates after the enactment of Act of 2004. The total number of minority status certificates issued by the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions during 2005-07 is 825. Minister can apprise us the number of other certificates issued by this Commission during the year 2008. They have issued No Objection Certificates to about 825 institutions. How many students of minority communities are admitted in these institutions? I hope the hon. Minister can apprise us so that we will be able to know whether there is some reservation. Sir, I am just concluding within our minute. There is some result with this amendment. Can education be considered complete without the students having at least the working knowledge of Mathematics and Science or in an increasingly globalized world, even English? I would like to know whether these institutions will teach Mathematics, Science and even the English subject to the students. Can the hon. Minister assure us? Sir, lowering the education standard will be retorgrade move for the students and it surely would not help these children for whom the National Educational Policy promises equality and social justice. So, this will not even help the students. Sir, I will conclude within one minute. Even the present West Bengal Government my Left Friends are very much arguing is bringing an amendment. Another example is that of Neeraj Chopra going to Chula Vista so that he could return to training without any distractions and prepare for the World Athletics Championships. The national sports development fund scheme of our ministry supports for our core and development athletes. With top corporations and PSUs showing interest in supporting sports in India, the future is very bright for Indian sports. Just recently, we launched a new website we launched a new website and portal for the NSDF wherein any individual, organisation or corporation can contribute any amount towards any sport, any athlete, or any event of their choice. I appeal to the business community of our nation to come forward and adopt a game, adopt an athlete, adopt an academy of their choice and support our sportspersons. What will you tell a youngster wanting to carve a career in sports? We are changing the sporting ecosystem to make it conducive for our sportspersons be it the elite athletes or the grassroots talent. We have a clear system in place. We focus on talent identificatioon and grassroots development through our Khelo India Centres at the district level and through the SAI training centres and NCOEs. We focus on their world-class.
